Day
1.
- Arrive at George Airport.
- Transfer to Far Hills Country Hotel.
- Afternoon scenic tour in this magnificient coastal region.
- Overnight at Far Hills Country Hotel.
Day
2.
- Featherbed Nature Reserve Experience.
This is a spectacular four hour eco-experience and includes a return ferry boat crossing, a nature
walk and a lunch. A 25 minute ferry trip on the Knysna
Lagoon to the Western head (The Reserve is only accessible by ferry.) Upon
arrival, guests board a Unimog drawn trailer and drive up to the top of the
Reserve. While stopping at a scenic lookout
point, our specialist guides will share with you some fascinating tales about
Knysna and the surrounding area while you enjoy the panoramic views.
An optional 2,2 km guided nature walk takes you through the forest, onto the
cliffs, into the caves and along the scenic coast. Once back in the Food Forest, (a unique
outdoor restaurant situated under the Milkwood Trees), guests can enjoy a
spectacular fish lunch or choose from our a-la-carte menu. The ferry returns after lunch to the
Municipal Jetty.
- Rest of day to Explore Knysna & Waterfront, better known as the "Jewel" of the Indian Ocean.
This is a popular tourist centre and the shopping Mecca of the Garden Route.
Knysna nestles on the banks of a beautiful lagoon in the heart of the ‘Garden Route’ of South Africa.
It is surrounded by a natural paradise of lush indigenous forests, tranquil lakes and golden beaches, making it a real natural wonderland.

3.
- Full day visiting Cango Caves, Cheetah Farm and Ostrich Farm in the quaint town of Oudsthoorn.
The world famous Cango Caves are situated a mere 27km. from Oudtshoorn, the heart of the Little Karoo.
Widely accepted as possibly the most spectacular showcave in the world, this attraction is a 'must see' on anybody's itinerary!
With the entire cave measuring 5,3km. in length, with 1,2km. available for viewing, this is a big cave.
On the tourist route you will find thousands of stalactites, stalagmites, flowstone formations and much more.

Day 4.
- Full day visiting Tsitsikamma National Forest and Marine Reserve.
Where the booming breakers of the Indian Ocean relentlessly pound rocky shores, where temperate high forest and fynbos roll down to the sea in an unspoilt verdant carpet, where ancient rivers carve their paths to the ocean down rocky ravines. This, "the place of much water", is the Tsitsikamma National Park. The heartland of the park stretches some 5 km to sea, protecting a wonderland of inter-tidal life, reef and deep sea fish.
Dolphins frolic in the breakers, surfing and playing for the sheer joy of life, and the gentle giant of the ocean, the southern right whale visits here, coming inshore to breed.
This area is also home to the worlds HIGHEST BUNGEE JUMP.

5.
- Morning visit the town of Mossel Bay and adjacent Nature Reserve.
Explore the Old Post Office Tree complex – the Wild Culture of the Dias Museum.
There’s a shell museum and aquarium, a cultural annex, a maritime museum with a life-size replica of the first European ship that landed on these shores, an ethno-botanical garden, a braille trail and the remarkable Post Office Tree itself.
- Afternoon Take a nostalgic Train Ride on the "Outeniqua Choo-Tjoe".

6.
- Morning visit to the town of George.

George is located in the Cape Wildflower Floral Kingdom next to the coast at the eastern end of the Western Cape Province and has a low rainfall Mediterranean type climate with activities to keep you busy all year round.
