Golf in the Cape of Good Hope.
A 5 day, 4 night Golf and Cape
Experience, on a Self Drive, Bed & Breakfast basis.
(Married couple, late 50's, both golfers, opted to only use us for car hire, accomodation(bed & breakfast) and golf reservations & payment).
(A choice was given to the couple on where they would prefer their accomodation, Ocean View, Wine Farm area or Cape Town proper.)
DAY
1.
- Arrive in Cape Town.
- Pick up 1300 cc airconditioned rental car at Cape Town
International Airport.
- Drive to Rosenview Guest House, on the UITKYK Wine
Farm in the Stellenbosch area. This farm nestles in the
shadow of the Helderberg mountains.
- Golf at Stellenbosch Country Club.
This picturesque course is set in the heart of the
Winelands, and lush vineyards surround the course offering
magnificent views.
- Overnight Rosenview Guest House.
DAY
2.
- Golf at Atlantic Beach Country Club.
In true Links fashion, this
is not a course that allows a step-up-and-drive approach, but rather one
of some finesse where a bit of safety play, with a lay-up, is sometimes a
better choice.
- Self Drive half-day Peninsula Tour after golf. (Own Cost).
See the meeting of two Mighty Oceans, the Atlantic and Indian, and
experience some of the most Spectacular Sea Vistas in the World.
- Overnight Rosenview Guest House.
DAY
3.
- Golf at Devonvale Golf & Conference Estate.
With lovely views of the Helderberg Mountains and vineyards from most holes, this course offers a beautiful setting that will make your visit here truly memorable.
- Ascend Table Mountain by Cablecar (Weather Permitting) and visit
Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. (Own Cost).
- Overnight at Rosenview Guest House.
DAY
4.
- Golf at Boschenmeer Golf and Country Estate in Paarl/Franschoek valley.
This undulating, parkland course is set in a scenic location in the heart of an award winning vineyard.
- Return to Rosenview Guest House.
- Met by Guide for a half day Winelands Tour. (Own Cost).
Visit the White Wine and Red Wine Headquarters of Southern Africa and,
as this is a guided tour, enjoy the wine tasting!!!!
- Overnight at Rosenview Guest House.
DAY
5.
- Golf at Spier Golf Estate.
This course is overlooked by the towering Helderberg Mountain range and surrounded by rolling vineyards and orange groves.
The Blaauwklippen River meanders through the course and each of the 18 holes offers its own unique challenge. There are testing water features, (notably the par-3 second hole where the green is on the river bank), and classic golf holes with the most memorable and spectacular backdrops.
- Drive to Cape Town International Airport, drop off rental car and depart.
