Golf on the East Coast.

A 7 day, 6 night, Adventure.

World Renowned Garden Route. On a Self-Drive, Bed & Breakfast basis.

(Married couple, early 30's, opted to use us for car hire, accomodation(bed & breakfast) and golf reservations & payment).









DAY 1.
  • Pick up 1300 cc airconditioned rental car at George Airport.
  • Rest of day at leisure to explore Knysna Waterfront.
  • Overnight at Knysna Hollow Country Estate. (This will be your base for the duration of this adventure).

DAY 2 to Day 6.
  • Golf was played at the following courses:
    • George Country Club.
      Nestled away in the foothills of the magnificent Outeniqua mountain range, you will find the beautiful natural parkland known as George Golf Club.
    • Knysna Golf Club.
      This challenging and visually stunning golf course lies nestled in the Knysna valley.
    • Mossel Bay Country Estate.
      Centuries old Milkwood trees line the fairways & greens, against the backdrop of the intense blue Indian Ocean. The course boasts, "A View From Every Tee", and on a windy day, your A game is insufficient.
    • Plettenberg Bay Country Club.
      This golf course is set in a private nature reserve. There are no intrusive houses or traffic noises, but beautiful trees and well maintained fairways make this a course playable 365 days of the year. The natural beauty of the course has been carefully retained, so there is a possibility that monkeys, loeries and woodpeckers could put you off your game.

  • The following adventures/activities were also undertaken after golf, at own cost:
    • Bungee jump from Stormsriver Bridge.
      The Highest Bungee Jump in the Southern Hemisphere.
    • Visit Knysna Quays and take lagoon ferry to famous Knysna Heads.
    • Dinner on the Knysna Quays succumbing to the "World Famous Knysna Oysters".
    • Visit Tsitsikamma National Park and Storms River Mouth.
    • Visit Cango Caves and Ostrich Farm in Oudsthoorn.

DAY 7.
  • Scenic drive to George.
  • Return rental car at George Airport and depart.
