Golf with the Animals.
A 7 day, 6 night, Golf and Wildlife Safari.
Kruger National Park, Mpumalanga- and Limpopo-Provinces.
On a Self-Drive, Bed & Breakfast basis.
(Married couple, early 50's, both golfers, opted to only use us for car hire, accomodation(bed & breakfast) and golf reservations & payment).
DAY
1.
- Pick up 1300 cc airconditioned rental car at
Johannesburg International Airport.
- Drive to Shingalana Guest Lodge in Hazyview, via
Dullstroom and scenic Long Tom Pass.
- Afternoon visit various waterfalls in vicinity.
- Overnight at Shingalana Guest Lodge.
DAY
2.
- Golf at the picturesque White River Country Club.
- Visit Arts & Crafts markets & scenic drive.
- Dinner at Shangana Cultural Village. (Own Cost).
As night falls, the festival starts in the flame lit Kraal. With an explosion
of ethnic music and song, the magnificent show begins. It tells the story
of the Shangaan Nation, with an ensemble of over 70 choristers, dancers
and narrators. This is a spine tingling experience in a natural setting.
No stage and footlights or electric music here! A feast is served during
the interval, and the African Vibrations carry on into a night that reverberates
to the sound of throbbing drums.........

3.
- Golf at Sabie River Sun Golf Course.
Be warned of the Hippos and Crocodiles adjacent to the 16th and 17th holes.
- Visit Kapama Game Lodge. View their endangered species breeding program and take an Elephant Back ride. (Own Cost).
- Night drive and Bush Barbeque with Kapama Lodge Rangers. (Own Cost).
- Overnight at Shingalana Guest Lodge.
DAY
4.
- Early morning golf at Kruger Park Lodge.
- Rest of day exploring "Eastern Lowveld" mountains & region and visiting the restored mining town of Pilgrims' Rest, Potholes, God's Window and Graskop.
- Sunset drive from Kruger Gate with Kruger Park Rangers in open Safari Vehicle. (Reservations effected by us, but at own cost).
- Overnight at Shingalana Guest Lodge.
DAY
5.
- Enter Kruger National Park for early morning Golf at Skukuza Golf Course.
This course is inside the Kruger
Park. As far as we know, it is the only golf course in the world inside
a National Park. There is an abundance of wildlife all around, and your
gallery of interested spectators could include inquisitive monkeys, curious
impala and zebra and towering, yet graceful, giraffe.
- Game drive in own vehicle via Satara and Letaba to Phalaborwa Gate.
- Exit Kruger National Park.
- Overnight at Chalets at Hans Merensky Golf Course, Phalaborwa.
DAY
6.
- Golf at Hans Merensky Golf Course.
Part of Hans Merensky's magic is to find Giraffe, Hippo or Hyena ambling across the fairway, or to catch sight of Leopard kills dragged into the trees.
- Afternoon at leisure.
- Evening Game Drive with Hans Merensky Rangers in open Safari Vehicle. (Reservations effected by us, but at own cost).
- Overnight at Chalets at Hans Merensky Golf Course.
DAY
7.
- Depart for Johannesburg International Airport.
- Visit Sabie and Lydenburgh en-route.
