Knysna and Garden Route Safari.

A 7 day, 6 night, Adventure.

World Renowned Garden Route. On a Self-Drive, Bed & Breakfast basis.
(Married couple, early 30's, opted to use us for car hire and accomodation only).

• During the stay, the following adventures were undertaken. (Where applicable, reservations were effected by us, but for own cost):
  • Full day tour to Oudtshoorn, Cango Caves, Ostrich Farm and Cheetah Breeding Project.
  • Featherbed Nature Reserve Adventure. This is a spectacular four hour eco-experience and includes a return ferry boat crossing, a nature walk and a lunch.
  • Tsitsikamma Tree Top Canopy Adventure.
    A first in Africa. Enjoy the unequaled beauty of the indigenous forest high up on eight treetop platforms. Gently glide along in harness along steel cables 30 meters above the forest floor. Birdlife is abundant (including Knysna Loeries and the elusive Narina Trogan), and your guides will explain the ecology of the lush primeval forest.
  • Outeniqua Choo Tjoe Steam Train.
    Daily return trips between Knysna and George are undertaken by this famous old steam engine.
  • Whale and Dolphin Watching.
    The Knysna Heads as well as Brenton on Sea provide a wonderful opportunity for land based whale watching during whale season (May to November). The Knysna coastline is home to one of the highest diversity of marine mammals in the world - including whales and dolphins. During certain times of the year, sightings of the following can be had: Southern right whale, humpback whale, Bryde's whale, bottlenose dolphin, common dolphin, orca, humpback dolphin.
