& CONDITIONS
1)
RESERVATIONS
- A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total safari price is payable
within 10 days of our confirmation of the reservation.
- The balance owing on the invoice must be paid 8 weeks prior to departure.
- Afri Wildlife & Golf Safaris (The Company) reserves the right
to cancel any reservation for which the total price has not been paid
by due date, in which event the deposit will be forfeited to the company.
- The Company guarantees the price of land arrangements once full payment
is received, except where subsequent increases are beyond the control
of the company.
- When a reservation is made within 8 weeks prior to departure, the
full amount payable must be paid within 48 hours of confirmation of
your booking.
2)
CANCELLATIONS & CURTAILMENT
- In the event of the passenger or group cancelling their safari for any
reason, such cancellation must be made in writing, per facsimile or
e-mail.
- Cancellation will only be recognised when a confirmation is transmitted
to the passenger or group, by the company. In such instances, cancellation
charges will be levied in accordance with the maximum charges which
can be imposed.
- From time of booking up to 8 weeks prior to departure, the deposit
is forfeited as follows:
- 8 Weeks prior: 50% of total safari price
- 6 Weeks prior: 75% of total safari price
- 4 Weeks prior: 100% of total safari price

AMENDMENTS
- Amendments to confirmed reservations will be processed at a fee of
R100=00 for each alteration made to the booking after reservation confirmation.
- If notice of amendments is made within 8 weeks prior to departure,
the above cancellation charges may have to be levied.
- Administration charges will be levied on all documentation/vouchers
submitted for reissue or refund.
4)
REFUNDS & UNUSED SERVICES
- No refunds will be made for no-shows, or any unused services irrespective
of whether they form part of the basic inclusive safari price, or whether
they are in respect of pre-booked optional arrangements.
5) DELAYS
- The company does not hold itself responsible, nor can it be held responsible,
for any delays prior to departure, or during the course of any safari.
Whether these are brought about by technical difficulties, strikes,
weather conditions or any other circumstances whatsoever, whether forseen
or unforseen.
- It is understood that any expenses relating to these unscheduled extensions
(eg. Hotels, meals, airfares, telephone calls, etc)
will be for the passengers' own account.
6)
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
- Documentation is only prepared on receipt of full and final payment.
- All passengers will be personally responsible for ensuring that they
are in possession of the correct documentation prior to their departure.
- The responsibility to obtain correct, current and valid passports,
visas, vaccinations, inoculations and re-entry permits where required,
is that of the passenger alone.
- The company will not be held responsible or liable for any consequence
of any nature arising from the customer failing to ensure that he/she
has complied with all such requirements.
7)
ITINERARY ALTERATIONS
- While every effort is made to keep to the itinerary, the company reserves
the right to make any changes for your convenience.
- The duration of the safari may have to be extended or curtailed owing
to unforeseen circumstances and changes in transport schedules. Any
resultant expense will be borne by the passenger, and any saving refunded.
8)
INSURANCE
- We strongly advise passengers to take out insurance against cancellation,
curtailments, illness, loss of baggage
and default at the time of booking.
9) LIABILITIES
- The company makes every effort to ensure that all arrangements and
services connected with your safari will be carried out as specified in
the most efficient and effective way possible.
- However, we do not have direct control over the provision of services
by suppliers and whilst they are selected with the utmost care, we do
not accept liability for error and omissions of such suppliers.
- The company does not accept any liability for changes, omissions or
delays before or during the course of any safari occasioned
by technical difficulties, weather conditions, strikes or communication
breakdowns.
10)
METHOD OF PAYMENT
- Acceptable forms of payment is either by cash, bank transfer
or credit card.
13)
SPECIAL REQUESTS
- Special requests must be made at time of booking.
- Every effort will be made to comply, however we cannot guarantee that
all requests will be met.
